Default 1997 CBR1000F for sale in Queensland Australia (reduced)- $5500 ONO

This motorcycle comes with:

Full service history, original logbooks, owner's manual, tools and all receipts from new.

Headlight protector, touring soft panniers and large top soft pannier and all racks (Gearsack) and day rack currently fitted, but no bag (Ventura)

The bike has never been dropped to my knowledge, but does have some small stone chips and rub marks.

It is fitted with a black sheepskin seat cover and lowering pegs (original pegs come with bike as does a spare seat, I was going to get it custom modified to suit my large ***) Carbon craft tank protector and Eagle screens, touring lip screen, original screen supplied.

This is a super nice high speed tourer and can easily do 500 Km stints without getting sore or tired, the aero package works great and you will seldom get drowned.

I get 300K's from a tank (22 lt.) before reserve and have regularly done 350K's on a trip before reserve.

So as you can see this is a great sport tourer and in very good condition for it's age with plenty of life still left. If you have had one of these before then i don't need to tell you what a super comfotable bike they are.

My reason for selling is that my wife and I didn't end up doing the trips we expected to do, so i bought a TRX850 to scoot around on so the big thou is just sitting here doing naught!

A complete roadworthy will be done prior to the sale.

Do an Ebay search on "motorcycle clocks" there are a few that are cheep but don't last, this one is Stainless steel and water resistant, I can't remember the cost but it was under $80

Also, I was wondering if you made that headlight protector yourself, and how it is attached???? Looks like it is Velcro'd on each side maybe. Gary C.
