That’s nice bike!
Let’s make sure it’s in good shape and do required maintenance to keep it that way:
1. compression test to gauge health of engine guts.
2. replace spark-plugs while you’re there
3. measure valve clearances. This is where neglect on these engines destroy them. Adjust valve-clearances as needed towards wide end of range
4. replace all fluids: oil, coolant, thermostat, radiator cap, brake fluid
5. measure brake pads, replace if needed
6. inspect headset steerer bearings. Grease and adjust
7. check wheel-bearings, replace if needed
8. measure chain & sprockets. Replace entire set if worn.
9. tyres, check wear-bars, check for cracks. Replace if needed.
