Default *March 2011 ROTM Voting Thread*

March is the one that comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb, right? Or is it the other way around?
I dunno, but we've gotten 4" of rain in the last week so I hope we have a lamb to look forward to (or in CBRClassic's case, a sheep)

A little late with the voting this month, peeps, but we have plenty of time left. Heck, like 3wks by the official Ride of the Month clock, so we better see some big voting numbers.

Anyway... here are the rules:
1. Only one vote per IP address. Irregularities in the votes or attempting to cheat will result in terrible electrical problems with your bike.
2. Only contestants and staff are allowed to post in this thread. All other posts will be deleted.

Now on to the contestants!

** As always, if anyone would like me to use a different picture of your bike in this post.... just let me know and I'll change it to whatever you want. Feel free to post additional pics and mod lists, too.

Good luck!

Thanks! Here is my little 'Super-Response-Quarter':
Its a 1992 CBR250RR from the JDM market. I've owned it for 4 years now and have replaced damn near every single gasket and bearing on this bike. Anything that could be considered consumable has been replaced. This has not been an easy task as sourcing parts for this bike is a very time consuming and frustrating procedure. I've replaced chain, sprockets, steering stem bearings, wheel bearings, swingarm bearings, cush drive, tires (a few times! ), added Pazzo levers and more recently, a smoked windscreen, I'm on my 2nd set of carbs, had my fuel tank cleaned, lined and coated, replaced the fuel tap and pump, headlight bulbs (NOT EASY TO FIND H4R 35w bulbs!? What!?). I've also added EBC pro-lite rotors, EBC HH sintered pads etc.

I daily drove it for a few years but over the past year and a half I've slowly changed from the 250 to an 01 CBR600F4i (running an 02 F4i engine).. but I still ride it a couple times a week. Its my guilty pleasure. It really is a visceral experience. Once the engine spins up over 14k, the sound is wild. It actually sounds like an indy or F1 car. Nothing on the market now compares.

A quick video of it going down a road - I don't quite hit redline, around 15-16k only:

Just revving it a couple times in the backyard:

And to close, I'd like to share this one last picture. Back when men were men... and their bikes fit cute lil dogs in the trunks:

This is my 1998 Honda CBR 600F3/SJR edition. (Smokin' Joe's) This is my first street bike and I have bought it in mid February this year with 7800 miles on it, has 8100 now. There is not a lot done to the bike since it is a limited edition, I do not want to change a lot on it.
All my mods are listed in my signature, but one more mod i'm looking into making is the single halo with audi LED's. Since this mod is very hard to do since there is no clear lens for this model bike, it will be rare.

For those who vote for me, I thank you.
