At least change the pic in your avatar -- no wonder I didn't know which bike to put up Your bike looks sweet dude ... I like the paint scheme and the look so far. It has potential to be really nice ... but I certainly feel your pain when it comes to low assets[:'(]

ORIGINAL: Downforce137

I dont see a whole lot of stock stuff on Quans bike.. Wheels, exhaust, carbon bits. What exactly are you looking at? I put lots of work into my F3, Wish I woulda took some better pics of it just before I sold it. Looked tons better than that pic. If you are talking about paintjobs, I dont think a high dollar paint job defines a bike of the month entry. In my opinion, most of the paintjobs I've seen on sportbikes dont really fit the bike at all, and take away from it. It's more about the total package, to me anyways.

Maybe you should define stock for us that actually were nominated by other members to get into this bike of the month contest. Hopefully, my latest project will make another BOTM in the near future. Should be done in a week or so.

And thanks everyone for the votes, but I really didnt think I had a chance against Quans ride. Congrats mang!
Actually I voted for your bike, it's really nice.

Ill have pics of my bike up "hopefuly" a week and a half... the power coating got pushed back

Quick list of stuff though since I dont want to get hated on for stating most bikes look stock from pictures *other then rims and paint obviously*. *sorry they just do*

Custom wheels,
Vortex tripple tree clamp chromed,
Custom break & clutch leavers chromed,
Bar ends chromed,
Stator cover chromed,
Vortex rearsets powder coated candy blue,
Swing arm, frame, wheels powder coated candy blue,
'05 to '03 Tail conversion *f4i*,
Targa seat cowl,
Sportech chrome windshield,
Custom paint job,

Thats all I can think of right now few other bits and pieces coming and going that I forget about... doing about 85% of the work myself besides the paint and powder obviously I dont have my own shop or the knowlage to pull off the results I want.

anyway looking foward to riding with anyone in the DFW or Houston area once my bike is back in one piece

*edit* added a photo album of the bike b4 i broke it down. and a pic of the bike in the pieces it's in now hehe*

*edit #2* Too sleepy to figure out how to reopen a photo album i already finished so here http://myspace-880.vo.llnwd.net/0079...92580880_l.jpg if you have myspace thats the bike after i tore it down for powder.

*yawn goodnight!*

I think I will cast my vote for Regen - I bet he's a little down after wrecking it. It WAS a nice F4i.
