Wierd problem, please help!
The EGCV valve turns 90 deg to TDC@ ~3000RPM then moves 180 deg to BDC@ ~8000 RPM.
If you want to really "wake the bike up", install a full exhaust system (Arata), remove the flapper and swap out the velocity stacks, install a PC III EX and have a race shop tune the bike. Try to find a shop that has experience with the 954, I've been told the 954 is a pain in the *** to tune properly.
