Default What did you pay for your 954rr

what did you pay (usd)?

what were the miles/mods?

do you regret paying what you paid?

on a local forum someone is debating on what a 954 is worth..

for me, i paid 5400

miles were 14k, mods steering stabilizer, scorpion serpent exhaust, PC3, rear sets, double bubble windshield..

i dont regret what i paid, the mods were tasteful and they were what i was planning on doing anyways...

Bone stock and clean. 5000 miles and $6,000. Worth every penny! Chose the 954 over a new 07' repsol. The problem is the money I have dumped (literally) poured into it for 2 years! More than what I paid for it! Now I will never be able to sell it or recover insurance value from it if I "grenade" it in T1 on trackdays.............

4300 for my 2002. 12000 miles. Stock with the exception of the slip-on. I got lucky. The previous owner was going through a divorce. Took what he could get.

what is a scorpion serpent exhaust? i have scorpions on both my motorcycles and the only company i know of that advertizes the words "serpent exhaust" is micron.

2001 Erion Edition i paid 2700
1800 i think
no
and the only thing wrong with it is that it was about 25cc short on power, its a 929 and not a 954 if no one got that.

Makes a difference WHEN you bought it! I paid $7500 for my 02 954rr 5k miles ($5.5k cash / $2k trade) and don't regret it one bit. Only mod at the time was PCIII. Bought in late 2004.

-bought mine on 10/15/2007
-6790 miles
-paid $5,400 for it and dont regret it at all. i can still prolly pull $4500-$5000 outta someone if i tried sellin it now which aint a bad loss at all considering ive only put about $50 into it since when i bought it haha
-was in perfect shape other then like a half inch chip outta the paint on the gas tank. no dents, dings, or problems.
-came with power commander, two bros slip-on and midpipe(i think its called), spools, sliders, k&n air filter

it all depends on location and the time you but it too. i see complaining on another forum i am on about how cheap people get different bikes for and such and few people realize that there no standard price for a bike, it all depends on your location.

i couldnt have picked a better bike. half the reason i picked it was because it is not as popular as all the others, i didnt want to be another guy pullin up on the standard gixxer1000 or cbr1000 R1 or somethin. i like to be original and no one around here really owned one at the time..... then within the next few months 2 kids got 954's, 1 of them coincidently, and the other after he rode mine and loved it haha
