Default Vortex clipons

I don't know how many people have looked in a set of afer market clipons but I bought a set of vortex clipons for my 954. after adjusting them for about an hour I could never get them not to hit the ram air covers. If all the riding I was doing wat at the track they would be fine but you just can't get them lock to lock on the 954. I did ride it a couple of days with them on and they felt real good and had a aggressive stance, but for street riding I just can't deal with not having full turning.just wondering if anyone else is running after market clipons and what there take is on theirs? just my $.02

Most of us pull off those things from our track/race bikes. Another option is to go with Sato adjustable clip ons, since you can adjust them to only a 2 degree down angle that won't hit. We sell both, but most people go with Vortex.

how much does the sato clip ons usually run. I think I paid around $150 for the vortex and if the sato are not too much more I might look into a set of those. I know the sato rear sets are quite a bit more than the vortex. I'm a wheelie/stunt rider and if I don't have have lock to lock it may not be pretty one day, thats why I yanked thoes vortex clip ons off.

The adjustables are $199 plus shipping. I think it would help a ton with the clearance issue.
