Be patient dont give up so fast I might be able to help.Listen I think your talking about the two side cowls that cover the air intake.what I did was drill a neat pattern of holes in the air intake on both sides to let in more air.

Thanks hondacbr1000. i like you your mod, it looks very clean.

I wont give up. I guess i just expected alot of activity on this forum since its gear for 954's.

And as for my original post, i guess i should re phrase my questions. What im looking for is a grill type insert to cover up the triangle hole on the sides where the frame sliders are installed. Kind of like how the RC51's look. I know that the RC run a V and the sides are the radiators. Im just looking for something that would give it the same effect in looks. I thought someone one this forum hade done something like that.

Thanks for the help again.

Yo dude
You have to make that mod your self .There are sites on ebay that sell the grill already painted but you have to install it your self. I ordered the grill from ebay but ended up going to Lowes Or home depot buying the grille that covers the gutters for the roof cause thats what they use spray painted to your choice of color with clear coat , it cuts and bends easy and i used quik steel epoxy bought from the auto store its water proof and heat resist up to 500 degrees only 4.00$ . I did the two bottom vents with the grille being black it came out real nice i'll do the top next when i have the time . Ill post some pics later on .

ARKAS, that has got to be the best looking 954 ive seen. That mesh grill is exactly what i was looking for.

So any tips before i try this out? how long have you had it on? no problems with the glue holding? how about rusting?

Thanks again

I had it on for about a year. When you glue it on make sure you don't put any glue on the inside of the fairing where the Rad hoses are, trust me LOL. It will melt the glue and stick to the hose and inside fairing. If you buy the same stuff I did you wont have to worry about rust because its aluminum, its easy to cut and really cheap. It doesnt affect the air flow/cooling and it hides whats underneath.
Hope this helps.

Im guessing not? Ill try another forum.
