Default USA vs Australia

Gday from the southern side of the planet! I've been reading the 954 threads all day (@ page 23). I've had my 954 for 3months now and I really feel for all of the Yanks, Poms and Euros out there. Snow in winter! That really must give you all the s**ts! I've only seen it 3 times in 34 years in Australia that is, been to your countries too. How long does your machine have to "hibernate" for annually? I get upset if it rains on the weekend cos I can't ride the Blade in the manner intended! You all have my deepest sympathy

Pssssst

Don't tell them too much about the great weather Australia mostly has Liam..............or they'll all want to come down here.

Tell them about Drop bears, Gillard, Droughts and Flooding Rains, Union corruption, baby eating dingoes and red-back spiders, One Nation, and the snakes...............................

Cheers, SB

Most of the time my riding season is April to mid October.....but I put a day permit on her the other day and went for a rip! It was 6 degrees out so not too bad, but it was still pretty cold with vented gloves and mesh summer riding jacket.

The only thing louder than Americans are the Aussies at the pub talking **** about the Americans. ;D

But in all seriousness, there are plenty of places in the US where you have fair weather year round, it's just that most of them are too busy out riding to post up about it.

Well took the bike out today to go to work... coming home it was about 11 deg, not too bad, this morning was about 5 deg.... bit chilly. I just get used to the weather over in the UK, it does make you appreciate the bike more when you do get on it, and i was one of the only bikes on the road today, felt great.
