Default track bike

so, i'm thinking about picking up another bike strictly to use on the track. i've thought about getting one of those salvaged ones you can get for cheap, and building from there.

i dont mind putting in the work, and i dont even care if it has a title...as long as i get a bill of sale.

my question is though. what do you guys recommend for a track bike?

i was thinking maybe an R6

whatever i'm gonna get, it'll be no older than 2001.

i kinda like the 600rr's too.

i guess my order would be
1. 600rr
2. R6
3. gixxer 600
4. zx6 [:'(]

what are your opinions, and possibly, give a little bit of a reason for your opinion.

i mean, brand loyalty is understandable, but, examples of what makes it the best choice helps alot more.

I think i would get a sv650. Reasons: Inexpensive. Very light and easy to flick around (dont know what they actually weigh, just going off riding my friends). Real nice torque down low, seems like your always in the power.

yeah, forgot about that as a possibility. not a huge fan of the bike itself, but you cant deny the low end torque either.
