I need a new subframe for my bike (has a small crack in it, I could live with it if I wanted to but I'd rather not) and was browsing ebay for one and I came across this:

What I want to know is if it will fit on my bike (it's a 954) when the people advertised it for a 929/54...not sure how that works so just want some advice

 

looks like for a 929 but hard to say with the bad pictures.. i would pass on it and keep looking always subframes on ebay, i picked up a 100% perfect one for 200 bucks on ebay

 

ah ok then. i thought that the 929/54 subframes were different but wasn't sure. thanks for the advice!

 

Brandon, that is for a 954 but for an earlier year....It definately will not work. When you search on ebay include the year, you should find more accurate results.

 

Thats not even a 954 subframe that is a 929 and you would have to change your frame in order for that subframe to work....pass it up dont **** urself find a 954 one. Reason i know what it is for is a buddy has a 929 and we have sat there for hours compairing cuz he liked the 54 bodywork and i liked the 29 bodywork.

first of.. 954 is only 2002.. and 2003..... also a 954 subframe is a 954 subframe.. same for both years

 

true bobjoezx....954 would designate 02-03 specifically...essentially what I was getting at was that it would not work Keep looking Mafarlou.

 

you SAID it was FOR a 954.. which it's NOT and then u u said for ealier year..... if it was for a 954.. it woudn't matter what year.. it's for a 929 so yes it's for a earlier year.. 00/01 929 not earler 954
