Default Stolen 02 954

My 954 was stolen two nights ago. Nice and perfect running bike and never layed over. ****ing bastards cut the chains/locks on it and took it off during broad daylight while I was at work. They didn't touch my 3 month old 1000 though that had the same type locks so I figure it has to be somebody who knows me b/c I have Lojack or however it's spelled on the 1000 but not the 954 as I was trying to sell it. Right now trying to get insurance to cover it.

But either way, if anyone in the Phoenix or AZ region sees an 02 954 for sale that might seem close then let me know. Though I'm sure it's a different color by now. Sargeant red/black seats would be a for sure noticeable thing as well a small blem on the frame. There's a small dent that looks like a finger poked it on the throttle side of the upper rail right where the mid fairing peaks at. Basically right where your knee would be sitting on the bike almost. No missing paint or anything, just a small indention. Would easily give it away.

I would check ebay and craigslist for the seat. Thats a custom part that not many people in your area (or anyones area) would have.

Sorry to hear that. I would try to think of anyone who has seen where it is kept in the past few months. I never let anyone come to my house to see things when I sell them. It's an easy way for theives to see what you have and come back later. Best of luck to you. You kept your insurance coverage which was a very smart move.

Nobody's seen it except people around where I live and friends which are a select few there. Basically it's only seen when I would get it out to ride it. Since I got my 1000 though it's basically been ridden only a couple hundred miles. I've had it listed online like a week or so but nobody's actually came to see it. I rode it to someone's place to have them look at it but they couldn't fork over enough cash and he doesn't know where I live to my knowledge. I've actually drove by his place looking though incase he followed or something. Will do again though. It's one hell ofa screamer bike and deserves a good owner. Insurance will cover it looks like but some ******* somewhere has a free bike right now. The thing originally had alot more on it but glad I sold most of it off.

Gonna miss that seat though. Soooo comfortable. Need one on the 1000. I guess the insurance money will give me enough reason though to possibly go out and buy another bike/trade in the 1000 though it's only 3 months old. Who knows? Probably will turn out for the better but still hate seeing scum get a bike for free.

I dont even want to get started on thieves so, what do you havefor insurance?Brand, coverage, ect
