I hit 158mph this weekend, and that's w/ a 2up rear sprocket. I'm confident this is accurate because I've got a 'speedo healer'

Having a speedo healer doesn't make your speedo any more accurate. it really depends on how well you've determined your stock speedo error. So how did you get your stock speedo?

But I digress....assuming your speedo is right, a 954 shoudl be able to go well past 158mph.

Some of us used a GPS to setup our Speedohealer , so yes , it is more accurate.

Hell I used a GPS as a speedo for a long time -- very effective except that you gotta 1 sec lag -- I hated having to hold a top speed the extra second to make sure it recorded right[:@] Eventually I'll bite the bullet and spend the $$$ for an instant readout type.

I've got just an Akrapovic slip on, and one night I got mine up to 171. That what the speedometer said. I'm not sure what the actual speed is.

Once and only once I saw 169 indicated. It didn't have much more since I was close to redline. Also, I am a goon, i.e. not very aerodynamic.

Top speed is for pansies. Real riders have worn down knee pucks.
