Should i ride on it
I have a new tire on order but I still want to go for a spin(front tire). My current tire has rideable tread though their is a hump/ridge/bulge going around the middle of the tire. I've never seen this happen on any other bike I have had so I am not sure.
Its my assumption that the middle of the tire should be flat since I ride alot of commuting mileage and go on the occasional long ride in twisties. I don't know if this is normal tire wear let me know.

If it is just the wear-bars, you'll be ok on dry pavement. If it's an actual deformation
in the tire, bubble/bulge then DO NOT ride the bike, till it's replaced. That's a sign that
the cords in the tire have broken and it could fail at any moment, especially if you heat
the tire up from riding. Check my new post on tire in the general tech section for
a picture of tread-wear bars.
Hope this helps, Ern
