well its the 35 code and i did the research and i still have some questions. if i just unhook the cables and take the airbox flapper out, what do i do with the butterfly in the exhaust? and i think its killin my performance cause i could only get it to like 150 at 10000 rpm in 6, it i do that stuff do u think its gonna help? and someone told me that doing that mod is gonna hurt my lowend cause of the back pressure from the butterfly in the exhaust. any input is greatly appreciated

thanks

hmm good time for someone else to chime in, Im looking at doing that research myself here soon. I know you can disconnect the cables and take out the flapper but i dont know what you do with the butterflies in the midpipe. have not looked that far into it and im unsure about how it will affect the bike so far. someone will be able to answer.

i did mine a little while ago havent had time to really test it out but basic around town its pretty good i did loose a little low end (less than 3k) but how many people keep it less than 3k? on a regular basis. all i did was unhook the cables, pull the valve to visually make sure i had the correct flow pattern. there is a mark on the housing (see pic) line it up and i wire tied it in place. leave the cables connected to the motor and tuck it behind the fairing. i have it zip tied to the faring mount brackett in the pic. THAT WILL NOT WORK. try somewhere else. i wraped the safety wire around the cable brackett and tied it to the fairing mount brackett.
