second radiator fan?
Has anyone installed a second radiator fan? It seems like such a big radiator to have a small fan on only one side. I know these bikes can heat up fast in traffic, but lucky for me that I don't live where traffic is a problem.
Surely someone has done this?

how are you going to mount it?
i think it'd just look cool if anything (i have a naked bike). i found one write up where a guy put a 2nd one on his '05 1krr, but he rigged it up using zip ties and hose clamps on the actual radiator hose which i think wouldn't look good and it'd probably pinch the inlet hose to the radiator. maybe welding a set of matching brackets to the other side of the radiator would work?
2nd, is there enough power to run both fans on the same fan circuit? my front light does dim a little bit when i turn my fan on

Little fab work and finding right spot to wire it in where it can handle the load and it can be done. Moose and I both come from naked bikes... Buell's and have figured ways to change alot of things on them to make them work better. Another fan is not a real big deal if you can figure it out. Hell I've seen amps and sub woofers and even Play Stations connected to Sportbikes. Now I don't get into that sorta thing but I can say they take a huge load and its done. A fan should be not so bad.
A playstation on a sport bike?

I'm sure you'd need to wire it in seperately, but making brackets is easy.
I'll probably never need a second fan, but I bet it could benefit from it in traffic. I've read a few posts about bikes getting over 230! If the fan can't keep it at 220, then it needs another or bigger fan.

My buddy had a gixxer 750. He did that. He just bought another fan, jb welded bolts where he wanted to mount it (i think it was jb weld), mounted the fan, secured the fan down to the bolts wit nuts obviously, and either wired it to a switch or tapped into the other fan.....pretty sure he did a switch. You will need to drop the radiator....
