Default radiator fan

I've been thinking about getting a second fan for my 954 and custom mounting it to the opposite side of the existing one because the bike seems to heat up to around 235 if I just let it sit and idol. Is this a good idea? Has anyone thought about doing this before?

unless you reverse the fan ull make it worse

ur fan is a pull ... if you put another pull on the other side you will keep it hot
ud have to either put another pull behind next to the one you have ...
or get a push set up and put it on the other side... maybe even not directly in front of the one thats there

also look in to a muzzy aluminum fan blade ... it pushes/pulls more air by volume... prob about 50.00

The existing fan is on the left side of the radiator. I am wanting to put one on the right side. I think you misunderstood me. Anyway, a was thinking of putting a manual switch on it so I can turn it on when I want, like in heavy traffic on a hot day

just put the stock fan on a manual switch and youll be fine, thats what i did and worked like a charm to be able to cool off the bike if i see it creeping over 200. thats crazy your bike heats up that much just idling though, does your stock one even kick on? because i feel like when i had my 954 it kicked on at like 215 or something and NEVER let the bike get to 235 even in really hot conditions.
