Default Power for grip heaters?

I'm going to install some grip heaters for the few weeks of winter here in Florida. Plus I hate wearing heavy winter gloves when riding.

Can I simply connect them to the white wire for the turn signals? That wire is for running lights, correct? I installed aftermarket signals and didn't use that connector.

I remounted my license plate light to my custom tail tidy.

Where did you connect the ground wires for the grip heaters?

moosetang, grip heaters in florida?? come on man!

but anyways, a lot of guys will go to advanced auto, and buy a 12v accessory outlet, and hook that up into their wiring harness. they'll use it for heated grips, electronic vests, phone chargers, GPS, cig lighters, etc. it's kind of nice because you can use it for a lot of different things then, instead of having to jump separate wires in your wiring harness for everything you want.

Mine are wired into a always hot with the switch on wire. Doesnt really matter which. But my heated drips are a perm install, not the slip over type.

I like to ride to work at 5 in the morning and it is usually in the 30's this time of year. Even with my large winter gloves and glove liners, my finger tips get numb. I'd rather where my joe rocket gauntlet and have heated grips.

i hear you, im just givin' you a hard time. if you live anywhere north of tampa it does get really cold for a little while every year. i used to live in the pan handle, and during some mornings when it was in the 20's and 30's, i remember putting my hands inside the fairings on top of the engine at stop lights to try and keep my hands from going numb.

are you getting the permanent type, or the slip over type as far as your grips go?

They are the symtec grip heaters that go under the grips, not actually heated grips.
