First off I want to say how's it going guys I just joined and am new to the 954 crew. I previously owned a gsxr. I stumbled upon an 02 954 a little over a month ago and fell in love if there is any advice or things I should know the info would be greatly appreciated. The previous owner installed a yoshi pipe and it sounds alright but I don't love it and I ride with a bunch of friends who's bikes seem to be a lot louder then mine. After researching on here a little and listening to sound clips I think i've narrowed it down to a two brothers or a d&d (I know people say they are obnoxious) slip on they both seem to have that low rumble while still being on the loud side. Has anyone heard or had any experiences with these and is there a big difference in the throatyness or loudness? Thanks ahead guys!

Jardine RT-1, has that low rumble and you won't have any trouble hearing your bike...carbonfiber version is the one I have. I have yet to get over how nice it sounds.

 

As a 02' 954 owner myself all i can say is she's perfect just the way she is. And isn't she lovely?
