Default PCIII

I was wondering if i will see a benefit on a stock 954 if I install a PCIII. I dont need more top end power but i wouldnt mind to gain torque and driveability. Also, are these units capable of having multiple maps on the fly? Perhaps a see level one and one for higher altitude.
Many thanks.

Μy two cents....I guess that fueling isn't perfect everywhere on any bike. On this ground, even a stock machine would see a benefit, by filling the lean and rich holes here and there. This will be even more pronounced with an aftermarket exhaust. Maybe you wont experience much increase of torque or power, but i guess the overall behaviour of the bike will be more electric like. It now depends whether you justify the expense. I am leaning towards 'yes' in the above question, if only to be able to play with my bike and laptop.

The 954 even in stock form would benefit with a PC3. Even if to just smooth out the low end jumpy throttle. As for multiple maps. You can add an LCD unit with a hub to mate up with the PC3. With that unit. You can hold multiple maps.

ironhead, can you expand on this LCD unit? any links? It sounds very interesting.
Is it possible for a tuner at sea level to provide an 'assumed' map suitable for a given higher altitude? I understand that the bike should be tuned at this altitude, of course...
