With our without the rear decal sticker
I can't decided to go through the troubles of buying the 954RR stickers for the rear fairing or just keep it without them I mean this 954RR is almost in perfect condition it's a great bike. I love how it looks right now but i'm not sure if its worth it to get the stickers then trouble with putting them on.

I love the RR sticker, If I decide to put them on I'm going to bring them to a graphics and decal shop to put them on for me so I don't have to deal with all the hassle, I remember trying to put on my dirt bikes graphics man was that a hassle. I found a place that sells replica decals for cheap http://www.replicals.com/index.php?cPath=21_27 they have all 954RR decals, I'm not sure on the quality of them but hopefully it's good.

You can go thru someone like tapeworks to get the "number plates" for the rear and the 954rr stickers (which are separate). I added mine after the fact because it added balance to the black/white scheme of my bike. You can apply it wet so positioning it the first time isn't critical. It is very easy to apply and also remove.
Just an option; you have a nice stock looking bike. It'd almost be better to add them to keep it fresh and clean and OEM'ish. Coming from me, I'm overly customized but still really pushed for the "stock" theme. Take a look at my number plates... looks stock but are not.

Yea tapeworks has quality stuff.. A little more that their competitors, but their stuff is top notch. I got the white reflective "954rr"s from replicals though... not sure but they aren't hard to come by.
As for comparing the two, its night and day. The R6 is a DOG on the streets, especially in the low RPM range. It doesn't come alive until after 10K RPM which is great when I'm on the track but not around town. The 54 seriously scoots from 1st gear thru 6th although I have a micron full exhaust, pair valve mod, and a custom map so I'm hoping my setup is optimized. The 54 seriously kills the 6 on the streets. Now, this is stock gearing on both and the R6 in stock form so their is obviously a disadvantage.
I bought the R6 to replace my track only R6 which I thought the motor was toast. It turns out it is not but needs my carbs cleaned, etc. Well, even when coparing those two the new R6 doesn't do have enough to justify the switch over. But my track R6 is decked out w/ ohlins suspension, full exhaust, rearsets, clipons, magnesium wheels, etc.
The new R6 is a great beginner bike because it is more forgiving down low. The 54 will buck you off if you grab a handful of throttle, the R6 not so much. THe new R6 is pretty though which makes it hard for me to me to sell it (which I'm about to).
