only start in neutral???

Default only start in neutral???

My 954 will only start when its in neutral. Is this normal? I know my other bikes were not like this.

it should start in any gear but you have to put your kick stand up and hold the clutch in...

nope wont work ONLY in neutral with clutch in.....

Sounds like your clutch switch may be bad or your wiring is disconnected/broken. Do you actually have to hold the clutch in even in neutral to start it? If you are in any gear other than neutral, the kickstand does have to be up for it to start, clutch or no clutch.

Kickstand is up also??? I can also start mine with kickstand down in nuetral.

kickstand doesnt matter unless it's in a gear
