oil pressure problem and possible solution
heres one comparison http://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/FilterStudy.html
the one downside that most people point out is that the pure one media looks like it is bunched up and will restrict flow. However, more media is better, especially if it filters really fine particulate. Plus, it's not like you are trying to filter rocks. Small stuff won't clog the pleats, and if it does, it would help to have more pleats. Anyway, with the high quality oil we use on our bikes, and the change interval we use, I doubt anyone would ever see a problem with one.
Just for fun I tried to fire the bike up and it turned over. Idles fine. When I rev it the engine sounds like some sort of animal meeting its doom. The noise gave me the chills. Anyone want a video of an engine that is compeltely #$%^#$ed?

sounds like you may have sucked a valve. i did it to my race bike once. may be not though you said it idles fine? i say order up some parts from HRC and rebuild engine to superbike spec. thing will be totally sick!!!!!!!!!
bobjoe, remember it took me a week to build the courage to change the spark plugs?
Itll take me at least a month to want to tear an engine apart.

bobjoe, I started to piece a rebuild kit together, but I really want a master kit. Do you know of anyone that puts a master kit together for the 954? I want all seals, gaskets, rings, pistons, bearning, etc.
