Oil symbol and oil light came on today. At idle the oil light come on. Any thoughts?

(I have enough oil in the bike. Not due for a change for over 1500 miles. New filter at last change.)

 

Alright... i looked in the manual...sounds like you might have a ..faulty ECM... what is your email i will email you a screen shot of the MIL codes for "0 Blinks" and "stays lit" .. or d load the manual http://www.stephygee.com/954RRmanual.zip and go to 5-10 and take a look

 

check urTP sensor(goes in to aair box)...and oil pressure.....

 

Havent looked at the bike yet. I am getting ready for a full tear down. I think I am going to get a stroker crank from erion racing and have some custom pistons made from JE. I am going to rework the head and look again into how much tunability I can get from the power commmander. If I cant get the engine to run right I am going to ditch the stock computer for a megasquirt. I am looking at running 110 octane (pump station next to my house sells it) with some amazing timing. I want about 210 HP at over 16000 RPMs. I am going to keep the same compression. Custom cams...now I am babling, but I think you guys are getting the picture.

 

210 HP. BAH i want to see a 1:1 hp to weight ratio

o brother.. first it goes from bike not even starting .. to 210 horsepower.. why dont u get that thing started before u worry about major HP numbers
