I have used the 10-30 moble 1 full syn and I have 38K on mine with no prob so far.

Read in a motorcross mag that Honda is putting out a new HP4 fully synthetic 10w40 oil....

Still no luck. I'm going to put some moble 1 - 10w30 inthis time around i think.

OK OK.... I just called a spot and they have full syn repsol 5w40. How does this sound? And would you in yours?

The weight of the oil makes a bigger difference than the viscosity. 5W - 10W - 15W, THAT is the weight of the oil, if you dont want to rebuild your motor I would stick with the 10W. The viscosity of 30 if it's full synthetic is more than sufficient. Drag racers use 0W- 20 or 30.......but they rebuild their motor after every run and are looking for every last ounce of HP to be had. Run the 10-30 and you will be fine.

Personally, to answer your question, no. I wouldn't, but then there are people that wouldnt use "car" oil either so........

Guys, just got in from the first ride after my oil change... holy crap! The full syn is 1000 times smoother shifting.

Glad you found your piece of jewelry! Stick to the same brand oil, it'll get better and better.
