noisy gear box ??

Default noisy gear box ??

Well had my bike just over a week now, The gear change seems a little noisy when the bike get warm, is it just me having a zx 9 for to long and thinking of all the noises that had?/are the cbr 954 like that when the oil thins ?? or is there something wrong with ,my gear box ?/

noisy gear box? thats a 954 for ya. Mine has always made a lil more than other bikes ive rode but unlike most of those bikes mine never broke down....

Honestly, I've never met a honda with a quiet gearbox....lol..

yea im pretty sure our bikes are known to have noisy gearboxes compared to others

they may clunk now and again but overall they are pretty good trannys. But we know they arent too quiet

Few thought for a minute i'd bought a knacker , it is really quite when cold but the oil is still thick...Dont get me wrong the transmision between gears is great just a bit clunky...

quiet when cold? when i shift my bike into 1st when its cold to take it outta my shed it sounds like the trans is going to take off and leave the rest of the bike behind haha

Hey Timmy...I have an 02 954 with 16xxx miles..she clunks when I put her in first and I can hear her go into 2nd...After that she's fairly quite...I run Honda synthetic motor oil which does help her shift a little smoother...
