Default new here/introduction

Howdy all,
As the title says here I'm new to the forum but not new to bikes. It seems that I can buy nothing new as I like to play and work on stuff so I picked up a used 2002 cbr 954 (non running) for dirt cheap. The previous owner said he parked it for the winter and i the spring he went to ride it and it died and wouldn't start. Well, the idiot ripped out the wiring harness thinking a mouse chewed on it or something. Well, I always like a challenge so I jumped on the offer. As of right now I got the bike completely striped down and am documenting the restoration of the CBR to it's former glory. My last restoration was a 1992 ninja 750 that came out spectacular. Anyway, hope you all follow long as I bring the beast back to life. By the way, I like active forums and open discussions. Ride safe and keeps the wheel side down. I included a pick of what the bike looked like when I got it home.

Hi and welcome to the forum. This will be a good project to follow along with. I was going to ask what part of the world you're in, but based on the Rigid shop-vac, I'd say someplace in the US anyway.

I got most of the parts, some are bad, others are good. Just taking it one section at a time as I slowly work through it. Will be a glorious day when it rolls out of the garage looking sharp.
