Default new to 954rr

Hey all I just bought a 03 954 in rough shape with 54k on the clock. I bought thinking of using it as a parts bike for another 954 that was stunted. My question is what would you do with the extra frame? I don't need two bikes I could part it out but I hate the idea of not putting a decent bike back on the road.

Sell it as a cheap project bike.

Where are you located? And what all is missing?

Naperville il I'm going to pop open the oil pan and see what I'm working with in the bottom end. It needs quite a bit to be honeat , look like he endo the bike or did a hard tank slapper. I was looking at the bike last night and it has an erion exhaust on but I'm not sure if its a full or slip how would I know ?

I'm unfamiliar with the bike in general, I'm assuming that's the butterfly valve in the exhaust ? If so yes what does that do

Also it doesn't appear to be missing much but there's a lot that's in rough shape. Like gauges, headlight, tires, tailight, front fairing is fiberglass and some other randoms like missing rectifier.

Yeah, it's affectionately known around here as the HTEV. Full systems delete that. So I'd say its a HTEV back or just a bolt on to the mid pipe. If you threw a picture up, I'd tell you for sure.

Then find someone like me around you who is looking to replace and delete as much of the bike as possible. Stunters need bikes, or guys who just want to build a complete custom. The only things that are 954 on my 954 anymore are the frame and engine.

I don't know how much you're into the bike for, but I'd take what you need off of it and sell it to someone looking for a fighter build. It won't be worth too much - but hopefully you're not into it for a whole lot of money either.

make some sort of table/furniture piece with it!

like how top gear turned a car into a living room set

some kind of creative fusion between these two pics.
