Unhappy Need ideas or solution

i put my bike down the other day hit some gravel took the back tire right out from under me. bike slid on left side then flipped over curb onto right side crushing the pipe in and bent the back frame that the cowl surround. it bent the whole thing to the left. need a technique or something to help me get it back straight without messing anything up. please help

It may sound obvious but panel beaters pull it back in the direction from which it was hit. If you try and straighten it from other directions you introduce new bends into it.
I would suggest you weld a bracket on and use a slide hammer. caveat, I am not a panel beater, just guessing.
You might be better off giving them the job of straightening it up for you if it is too far gone.

subframe? is that what you're talking about?

if it's the subby, stealthCBR929 has one f/s i think.


easier and better is to just get a new one. i'd think there'd be some problems with having to bend back aluminum. especially without heating it first? that's where you ride man, and if it's not straight, the bike won't feel the same


i don't know though. lets see some pics.

will take more pictures today of frame. only one i have is with the cowl on. will post tonight. thanks for all the input guys! appreciate it
