I just found this on the internet randomly, so:

well i ordered the repsol fairing kit off of ebay .. from china .. well you get what you pay for you know..
eBay.co.uk: " NEW " HONDA CBR954RR CBR 954 RR Full Set Fairing (item 230035408867 end time 10-Oct-06 21:15:00 BST) [copy to the link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=230035408867]
the plastic is very very brittle, if you try to drill holes in it . make sure you go up in small increments cuase there is not much meat around the holes and you will tear off the plastic . the paint is ok .. but has lots of clear coat dripps on the edges.
also the molds they use or did use or whatever . all the parts are about 1/8th to a 1/4th to small so you gotta stretch everthing out and hope nothing cracks ( well trying to put on the rear section we had to stretch it out over the parts and WALLA it cracked next to the seat section about 2 inches long and there is a 1/16th inch gap from it not being able to close up )
also there is no tabs in the back to mount the rear brake light .. and also there is no tabs at all......it is all plastic plugs that you have to try to stretch the plastic body work into place . then drill a hole in the plug and hope that you can get it all straight ...the headlight doesnt even fit all the way in takes like 3 ppl to hold and pull and drill and put the screws in
....anyways it was a learning experiance and i would rather buy a full fiberglass set next time instead of the way to small, brittle plastic.drippy paint full fairing set from ebay .. ugggg
maybe i got a bad set or something . but be warned ..it is a pain in the *** to get on with out cracking and hope your screws stay in after everything is put together.
i think when all is done ..it will be a cool looking bike about 10 feet away

I've been helping my son rebuild his ZZR250 after an off.

We looked at repro fairings cos they were cheap - both plastic and fibreglass. The quality was cr*p.

In the end it was better to source and repair original plastics from the wreckers.

Ok, they arrived! They sell these on their site Auctmarts for $699 and up, so if you can get it on ebay for a much better deal, as I did, it's worth the moolah. I haven't tried fitting them on the bike yet, but so far I am pretty happy. The blue is $%&***## awesome...beautiful. There are a couple imperfections I've found (an ugly mold defect on the front fender, which will be hidden behind the forks and a couple runs which you have to really be looking to see them), so I am not too concerned. I will post more when I put them on the bike to let y'all know how they fit. Peace.[sm=americanasmiley.gif]

The 'Fireblade' and 'RR' decals look like they are reflecting light from the camera flash. Is that right? Are they reflective, metallic or just a wild color? Also, are the decals under or over the clear coat?
Thanks for the update. The blue looks really nice, bet it's sick in the sunlight...

Yes, I didn't notice until after seeing the pic, but the RR and Fireblade is reflective Redand all the stickers ARE under clearcoat.

Ok, it's Christmas and I am working until Thursday morning ($$$!)so maybe I will get something done this weekend. Don't worry, I will keep yas posted.

I'd give you the "nice red X" little man, but you can't even get that right!

Here's what you would've gotten flamed with: [sm=redxX.gif][sm=redx.gif]

Ok, here are a few pics. I haven't put them on yet, but this is what I have found so far...

They are heavier
No tabs on tail to mount the brake light - I suppose I will have to use a little JB weld here
The Nose has most holes drilled, but I will have to drill and use self-tapping screws to mount the headlight
