i just bought, a 2002 954rr. 8640. miles yoshi slip on, with k&n, and it came with a power commander (think thats what its called) fuel programmer or something like that. It has new (honda brand) clutches sprockets, chain, brakes. and new tires. I have driven dirt bikes, cruisers, and many atv's. so i figured why not a sport bike? I have drove the bike for about a week now, and i am so very happy with my choice. i have an abundance of power, agility, and all the guys i ride with think it is a older 600rr... they wonder why i outrun them... (nothing to crazy though)
