my FIRST ACCIDENT

Default my FIRST ACCIDENT

I live in Mass and some of the backroads r brutal so anyways i was turning on this sharp turn and used the rear brakes but i guess i jammed the wheel so it slided i think i was over 45-50 not sure cuz i wasnt lookin at the speedo. I m new to riding im only 17 YEARS OLD btw this is my 1st bike yeh i kno way to start. but w/e.. The whole left side of the biek is gone(scrachted) and the gear pad came off. I'll get some pix up soon and i need the plastics but im not sure if i need new plastic cuz i could just get it repainted but i dont know i'll c. so any good websites with good prices will do .. thanx in advance

sorry to hear that man. wrecked mine about a month ago. the guys i ride with give me alot of krap about my plastics being all thrashed until we decide to race and then they shut up real quick. did you get hurt?

yeh i hurt my left elbow just couple of scrathces i wasnt wearing a leather jacket but i was wearing a full sleeved shirt but my left kneecap is a bit screwed it doesnt look bad from the outhside but internally i bet its pretty bad cuz it hurts alot when i walk but i dont think i broke my leg its just swollen..

thanx guys i'll get pix up soon and get the 94 baq on its wheels

My suggestion is "sell it and get a smaller bike". Why would you use the rear brake in a corner... Take the MSF at least. If I started on a litre bike when I was 17, I'd be a corpse right now...

i didnt use the rear brake through the turn i used b4 even entering the turn and then the bike slided. i walked away with couple of scratches so idc igot over it. w/e dude i got a good deal on it he sold it for $5000 did i mention the factory warranty still exits til july 08 and it had 3800 miles
