i just sold my 2004 cbr 600rr and i may get a 02 954rr with 13000 miles for $4500. was wondering what you guys thought of the price. it was dropped and now the frame was painted gloss black and has a brand new silver paint job.

You just bought an 03 with 3600 miles on it for 3,500 and I bought an 02 that was bone stock with less than three thousand for close to 6,000 around a year ago? Somethings not right here...

 

ya he's got race plastics and no headlight and such things.. so 3500 makes a little more sence but

 

dont get your wife pregnant he wanted 4500 as is i told em i had 3500 cash a week later he came back to me and now he is getting a sun room on his house he didnt want to sell it u should have seen the look on his face when i rode off i kinda felt bad but its mine now yeah it needs some work but it is still going to cost me less then i ii was to get another one i m goin to order the stock fairings and through the headlight in i have it so thats what i m goin with i no i got a steal

 

i just rode the bike earlier, but im not sure i think the front tire needs balanced, at about 60 the bars shake when i let go. what do you guys think

 

Is the front tire cupped? Meaning, when you rub your had down it, do you feel scaling, bumps, uneveness? If so, it's time to replace it. If not, it needs to be rebalanced.

 

could be a cupped tire or bad wheel bearings or a bad balanced tire.. could be a few things.. hard to tell over internet...
