lowering front forks
you could loosen your triple clamps and slide the forks up in them more and that will lower the front end. The proper way, but i don't know if they have anything like that.....is to take apart the forks and install something to limit the about of fork extension. This is the proper way and helps maintain proper steering geometry. But i don't suggesting lowering what-so-ever, just because it doesn't handle the same. You'll be happier with it in the sock height, as long as you can get a foot down at a stop light that kewl. I use to ride with this 5 foot nothing little girl on an R6. Not only a pleasure to watch as she bent over the bike to ride....but she never lowered her bike. Always had to have the bike leaned so one foot is on the ground, since both couldn't reach. She just learned to spin the bike on the side stand. and walk the bike backwards when needed to get out the parking lot. Slight pain, but the reward is that your bike handles better than lowering it
