Thx bobjoe...thats the way to do it, only that site says to take the headlight assembly out of the front fairing and all that. I just unplugged the harness, took out the two bolts that hold the front fairing to the bike, and then used an exacto knife to cut the holes for the sockets. Its really easy, and doesnt take very long to do. I dont remember the PN for the sockets, but i believe the package said that they were for GM/ford side markers...theyre white with 1 black wire, and1 brown.

 

ya.. 194 lights are very commen for side marker lights and turn signals..

 

that really is one of the easiest mods out there for the 954... but I've seen it be a disaster too! Make sure if you do the brow lights you are EXTRA careful drilling the holes in the headlight housing...

 

^^Agreed. Its very esay, but should be done with caution. I remember when i did it i read about it and saw everyone saying "its easy, but be really careful cuz u dont wanna ruin your headlight." It kinda scared me when i started, but just be careful, take your time, and remember...a little bit at a time. Its better to realize that yuou need to take more off, rather than find that you took too much off and have a worthless headlight. [sm=smiley20.gif]

I have that same rear integrated light. for the fronts, I just have a pair of lockhart led flush mounts with clear cover. That integrated (with amber signal bulbs) definitely cleans up the rear end. I customized the stock undertail by removing some excess plastic from the old blinkers and just painted it to match the color of my bike.
