Just some nonsense
First, I agree. Stars are kinda funny. If they actually represented reputation points or something along the lines of forum credit, whereby others can rank your replys (either nuetral or positive, not negative...let mods deal with that).
Second, AAnderson, being that you only have a few posts, might I reccomend you taking advantage of the search function of the forum. You can easily find the information you are looking for.
Last, whomever is giving you information about tires is very bias (pardon the pun). If you read up once you do the search, the guys (and girls) alone have posted a lot of information, including myself, about the differences in tires, and variables to consider based on the type of riding you do.
Have fun searching and let us know what ya find out and then anyone of us will be happy to reply.

Pirelli's, Metzlers, MIchelins all fine tires and you cant really go wrong with any of them. I had a long drawn out thing on another post about this, so i will make this one short. If you ride a lot you will go thru a few sets of tires a year, the harder you ride, the more tires you will use. Its just a fact of life, start putting money away now if you have to. Tires are pricey, but you DONT want to buy cheap ones, you will regret it.

Their reasoning was that it was too hard of a compound to run on this bike. All of the people that told me not to run Pirellis on it were the people at the dealership, and the friend that I have at the shop told me he would NOT even put the pirellis on the bike if I wanted him to. They said they do not stick as well as the dunlops, but I do not seem to get much more than 3k miles on the dunlops that I've been running. I cannot afford to keep running these tires, especially for the amount of riding that I do.
