i have an 02 954 and to be honest is handles like sh*t..it fights me in every corner, every little bump tosses the bike around..when doin wheelies it sets down soo hard..i rode my buddies gsxr 1000 and it pretty much put a 4sale sign on my bike..can this be fixed w/a dampner or what? any suggestions..i would like to keep this bike but it needs to be better..

 

sounds like you 954 is set to stiff. Loosen er up a bit. And fluck a suk lol

 

what does it take to loosen it up?

 

the adjustsments on top of the forks, and should be a set screw for the rear shock so you can adjust it to the softer setting. Guy you got your bike from a big feller?

check that link out, def sounds like your suspension is set at full stiffness, what is your weight, what about previous owner?

also check for proper tire pressure
