Default Just Lowering Link or Dogbones as well?

Ok so I want to lower my 954 but im not sure whether it can be done with JUST the lower link itsself or you have to have the triangle pieces as well (dogbones???). If it's just the link I can have a buddy make me one, he is a machinist.

Had mine lowered, I just ordered the lowering links. Factory dog bone will work with the lowering "triangles".

So you have to get the triangles? I thought it was just the link with the holes in it and that's all you needed?

You can lower your bike either way with the same result.

I used triangles with stock dogbones.. It was pretty easily done. Go with those I got mine off of ebay for 25 dollars

There you go. Those are the ones i used and sold. You could spend around 90 and get the lowering strut which would allow you to better tweak it and preset it the way you want. I think the triangles are 1 and 3'' drop. Strut is fully adjustable.
