Default Jumping ship... sell w/ goodies or part?

I hate to say it... but its time to move onto something else.

I've been looking at Ducatis for quite some time even though I am very happy with my 954. I guess it is one of those things where you just want something new. In my case, I want a Ducati streetfighter to mess around on since I have a fully tracked out R6 that I do my track days on. Anyways, I had the opportunity to ride a SF today and fell in love with it. So now I am thinking hard about how to sell my 954... take off all the goodies and sell somewhat stock or sell as is.

-15005 miles
-clean title
-second owner as of 2006

Here is a list of parts on the bike:
-Full Micron serpent exhaust w/ motogp exhaust
-Power commander (custom mapped by Raul @ Factory Pro)
-PVM 10-spoke Polished lip/black wheels
-Braking Wave rotors
-Re-worked front forks w/ custom shim stack and springs (done by Dave Moss)
-Proton signals
-Scorpio alarm
-HyperPro fully adjustable rear shock
-Scotts damper
-CRG levers
-bunch of carbon parts (fender, air ducts, rear fender, heel plates)
-HID low beam w/ Tripage delayed timer)
- A whole lot of powdercoat and extras that I cannot remember

Now, we all know this is an aging bike so no matter what I have put into the bike I will not raise the sale price of the bike w/ everything on it... but selling the goodies separately? Would people be interested?

-how much do you think I can sell as is?
-or with the wheels stock, carbon peices back to stock, and suspension back to stock too?

You might just see some parts go on sale here shortly. Thoughts?

yep, the paint job is custom on a the OEM fairings. I didn't really care for the stock graphics (unless it was in titanium scheme) so I painted these Lexus pearl white and ordered the graphics separately. I then changed it to my liking and added a little here n' there.

My goal was to make my custom paint job as stock looking and OEM'ish as possible while still standing out.

Thanks for the compliment

Thanks, that is part reason also to why it would be hard for me to part with this bike. The before pics are ri'dunk'ulous when comparing what it started out from. Over the years you just get it to a certain point, ya know?

I honestly couldn't say at this point. I would guess somewhere around 50% off of list/street pricing. One thing I would have going for me is it seems nearly impossible to find a used set of wheels for a 954 these days; they just aren't popping up.

what most people do is they convert the bike back to stock, sell that, then sell the upgraded bits.

im interested in the exhaust, let me know.

Be aware, guys, if one price for a part goes up in this thread, it's gone................
Take it to PM's if you want to talk prices etc.
You know the rules, so let's all get along, OK.

noted...

Its one of those "do I dive in or not" because once one thing goes the rest will follow. What are all you guys doing about a new bike itch? Are you just keeping your 954 and getting another bike to put in the garage? I'm back and forth almost daily cuz I've put alot of time an sweat in the bike.haha

My question is... how do you avoid the itch?!
