issue spotted !!!! check it outttt
so i pulled off my stock exhaust too prepare my new one too go right on when it arrives and i spotted this hack job it appears the previous owner cut this pipe what would this normally even look like having he never cut it ?? im thinking he cut it too make the stock pipe louder ??? fedback please
Depending on the slip on you use, there is a cone you have to cut off. That is where the cone used to be. I guess if you wanted to reduce weight you can cut it off. It wont hurt anything and im pretty sure it doesnt act as a baffle. You wont hurt anything removing that. I think it boils down to preference and certain pipes.....
The cone is a spark arrestor. Some bolt-ons are large enough diameter inside to allow you to keep it where others require you to cut it off. I know with Microns you can keep it and Two-Bros you have to cut if off.
