Default installed cigarette lighter into trunk, pics

well photobucket is down so im going to post pics up later...... not too much to see anyway

cell phone is always dead, GPS is always dead, never have a cig lighter when im want to smoke... finally i quit being a lazy bastard and installed a 12v car cigarette lighter into the trunk of my bike, ive seen others do it so i figured it couldnt be too hard.

I put in a switch so i can cut power to it whenever i want and also turn it on when the bike is not running, it also has a fuse in it and a little LED that lights up the whole trunk at night. Im glad i actually got it to work without messing anything up.

heh i feel a little retarded, the camera was in some weird mode that on top of the shady area i was working in made the pics look funny.
the cylinder does not get hot at all, even if you light your cig and put the hot part right back in it stays cool, charged my phone on it for a while, i want to monitor how much the battery drops with the bike off and my phone charging, dont want to run it dead. Its not really close to any wires, bout 4-5 inches between the wires and the lighter after i got everything organized.

It would probably be just as simple to do it up from, here is a link-

While your at it learn to put your pics one on top of another so i dont have to scroll a mile right to see them all

If you post image tags all on same line without hitting return key between each one they will all be on one line and make you have to scroll to infinity .. it does show up fine for me (on top of each other not beside each other) except when I'm in edit mode and trying to post in which case all your images are side by side ... or maybe tk's got his monitor turned sideways again

back on topic; nice job on the lighter mang!
