Default HTEV Exhaust servo motor from the CBR1000RR

Will the exhaust servo motor from the CBR1000RR work in the CBR954?
The plastic gears in mine are stripped, even if I could use the gears from the servo of the 1000RR in the 954RR?

The servos for the 954RR are hard to find and expensive for a second hand unit, whilst there are heaps of used units for a 1000RR

It should work fine if its from an 04-07. Not sure about ones newer than 07. My buddy has a 929 and his servo went bad recently and he used one from an 04 1000rr.

I spoke with my friend again today. He said all you have to do is change the mounting bracket and the rest is plug and play. He bought at 04 1000 servo. Not sure if the 05-07 are different but you may want to check the part numbers on ronayers if you cant find one off an 04 just to make sure.
