Default horsepower???

well i hate to say it....but i am dissapointed for the first time with my 954. i had it at the shop for a custom map and it only pulled 130.4 hp. (129.84 without pciii and 130.4 with!!!!!) I was hoping for at least 135-140. If anyone has had yours dynod what did you guys end up pulling?

yeah i have a two bros slip on and a k&n air filter. The bike runs like a dream and i took it to a certified dynojet tuner but still only got not even 1 extra horse and it dynoed at just 130!!!! I am the original owner but i guess honda built this engine on a bad day or something. This sucks!!!! so i wanna sell it for a 05 repsol.

that's pointless... 05 repsol.. go to a 06 and get a real bike. and repsol is just a sticker package...

Try going to the Factory pro web site www.FactoryPro.com and look for a place in your area that has one of those dyno's (four gas) it will make a huge difference my buddy had it done on one with his XX Blackbird and holy crap is that bike scary fast now, mines next. Also try the short intake stacks and ignition advance star, and read up on their injectors if you can afford them it's the only way to go (read the story behind them etc. it could be why your bike is making lower power) I have a arata full system, k&n, p/c usbiii, short intake stacks, ignition advance star, the best injector package factory pro offers my map needs tuned better (did myself for now) but the seat of the pants impression without a dyno are HOLY $H!T bike is waaayyyy faster and pulls so hard I have a tough time keeping the front tire on the ground under hard acceleration. Hope this helps.

I ran 129.5 on the dyno stock. I now have a full D&D plus power commander I'll let you know what it pulls when I get it back up on the dyno.

well it felt identical to the 04/05 cbr 1000, thats why i waited till 06 to get a new one, however it dose not feel like the 151 my new one put out. i would think the 954 has about 145-150.

but then again, i am just comparing the tops of rev limits. low end is not the same either.
