I have 2 weeks and 5 days left to do stuff to the the bike,the more I can do thethe faster that time will pass. If anyone is inSo Cal and wants to ride let me know, I could use some more ride time, once my husband gets home I dont thinkhe's gonna let me drive it. He won't ride on back, thats a girls seat! I guess I will just have to get my own bike. Oh and one more question for you guys, when I took it in today I ran into some friendsofmy husband, they were asking about the bike and then told me that I gottaken, it's a 2002 with 8 thousand miles and I paid 4 thousand was that too much? I thought it was a great deal.

The price isn't bad,I paid $5k for a 2003 w/7000 miles back about a year ago.

Yea im fine, lil rash on left hip is all. laid down on its left side going about 35-40mph. Stator cover, some new stickers, handlebar, mirror, pegs, sliders she will be good as new. Then of course i need all new gear too.

 

Well I am glad that you are ok. Rebuilding her will be fun its just a shame that now you have to do it. But I am sure she will love all the extra attention. I came close to doing the same thing today. I decided to take out my husbands bike and try to get good at turns, I really suck at them, I get freaked out leaning. I don't know what I did worng today but I came close to eating some pavement. This might be a stupid question, but my husband is from wyoming and wants to move back, I see snow in your pics, can you ride your bike in the snow and on ice?

 

No. Basiclly riding season ends with the first snow here, does not come back till april/may. During winter even if its warm enough and the roads are dry they have salted or sanded and its all over the roads.

 

Well I guess we would have to buy him a car, for winter, but that kind of sucks.
