damn man.... that sucks. did you notice any oil leaking down the engine from the valve cover or anything? i'm just curious why you were so low on oil to begin with.... well that sucks you're having to spend so much money... i hope they don't find anything else major...

well just got back from camping. found out before i left they wanted all the money up front before they started tearing into the engine. I paid the 500 for the work already done thinking they would start on the rest. but nope. gonna pay the next 500 today so they can start. just thought that was weird..and nope didnt leak oil or anything when i had it. Just makes me know ill never make this mistake again haha..........

 

hey man, we live - we learn. its all good, it just sucks to have that kind of blow to your checking account. definitely keep me posted, i want to know what happened.

 

bikes F**cked, dont have the specifics, was kinda in shock when i was on the phone. but the pistons messed up the case and such, so im gonna be looking to either for a new engine or gonna try and find parts.

 

anyone have a good 954 engine lol?

 

No offense or anything, but isn't there an oil light on the dash?
