adjuster seems to be fine. I have a full range of motion on it plus I played with that first. The fluid mostly just leaked out. got a few small squirts, about a 1/2 inch. Looked at thecalipers but like i said, im not sure exactly what to look for. stumped

take caliper off.. check piston and pads..... then put it back together and get yourself some dot 4 and keep on bleeding, 99% your got air in the line, but how was it working last time?

It sounds like air in the system as stated above. If you ride the bike again press the rear brake repeatedly about 4-5 times and see if it improves your braking.Keep us informed of your findings.

well, I havent ridden this bike since July. When I first bought it in May/June timeframe I noticed the rear brake was a little spongy/ but effective. This one is my wifes. I had the 954 in Ga with me. she never mentioned that there was a problem. She only said that she rarely uses the rear brake. Now I see why!! Illtry piston and pads. So you you think its just a lot of ait in there? How much bleeding should be done? (time)Thx again.

hmm time is very hard to say becuase it depends where the air is in the line, and also how well you are bleeding the system, but just do it till you fix the problem, get some dot 4 and fill it up and bleed it..

What I suggest is to get a small peice of clear tubingand install it onthe bleeder valvethat way you can see how much air is coming out.If after awile you stop seeing airand only brake fluidthen you should be OK.
