Myself, Terry954, and a couple of other fellows got out today to enjoy som e 70 degree weather in TN. We were enjoying some great roads until............one of Gordonsville's finest decided we were going too fast. 53mph in a 30. I have to say that the officer was very pleasant to us and actually mentioned that he also rides. This was definitely a buzz kill. I know we were in the wrong for exceeding the speed limit- so save the lectures.

 

o well it happends.. can't even get get out of 1st gear till 50

 

I hear ya man... never had a good day that involved the po-po

 

ha i dont know about that VP.. i had a few times i got away with riding without a licence so can't say those were bad but i also got caught my fair share..

 

the only time I had a pleasant experience with a cop (who wasn't trying to prove that he was in charge and the man) was when my bike got stolen and they came out to write the police report... those cops were perfectly cool. The 17 other times... not good experiences.

 

I am just thankful we got clocked when we did lol.......most of the day we were going alot faster

Still I had fun........those are some great roads

 

Yeah the police usually seem to like to flex their authority muscle a lot, they are always hassling the riders in my town. I don't see a problem with having some fun on some back roads when there is no traffic around, pushing the speed limit just makes it more enjoyable I was playing with a Porsche Cayman S the other day on the highway with no other cars around usand came over the hill to find a State Patrol car on the side of the road, lucky for us he/she must not have been clocking because they just stayed where they were when we went past, both of us had got on the brakes pretty hard when we saw the patrol car though, was probably just another case of dumb luck that nothing happened.

 

Who else has played with a quick car like that? The way I figure, if the lawhappens to seea bike andcar speeding/racinghe would rather pursue the car insteadthe two-wheeled machine. Example- Get the guy in the bright redDodge Viper OR go after the dude on the black sport bike... or was it a dark gray sport bike?

Keep in mindthat I dont support alluding authority.

I think the quickest car I've messed with was a turbo Supra. I was pretty damn surprised when it walked past me once in the triple digits.

Well I've been writen tickets for 62 in a 55 and 65 in a 60 on my bike. Theyll write you anything if you're on a sportbike in my county, it's a hard decision to not just twist the throttle, get her home, and in the garage. How many other red/black sportbikes have you seen officer? That's right, now go away.
