Well I'm new here hey all. I found a pretty good deal on a 02 954. It has new tires, zero gravity windscreen, full yoshi exhaust, chrome frame sliders, and less than 7,000 miles on it. It was dropped at a slow speed and scratched the clutch cover, and the tail fairing has a scratch from shipping, but I thought it was a pretty good deal for $5,000.

Anyhow I'll get her home and clean her up and try to post some pics. Any ideas for the best first investment?

Already priced them. Probably go that direction after getting good and used to it. Got a lowering link on the way as well.

awesome! same as mine, Personally i would switch mirrors, levers, foot pegs, bar ends, gas cap, and other random little things all to carbon fiber, it looks great with the black/silver scheme!! Im having the backlight of my gauge cluster changed too, check out this site, im thinking of the blue lcd with red needle

grips, i forgot grips, get rid of the ugly *** stock grips and put on a nice set of hard plactic siver and black grips

 

Grats on the bike, my first mod would be the driver mod. Ride the hell out of it for a while then see what you think it needs. Oh and put up some pics tomorrow

TK means drive the H#LL out of her and then decide from the ride what she needs. I've thought about looking into the power commander. I've heard people say it smooths out the rpm/torque distro. This is going to be a basic commuter bike. No track days or anything like that. Just thought it was a good looking bike at a good price. Who knows what will happen after I've been on her a while though.
