i had similar, it will give more low end power, if you do alot of street riding i wouldn't go any more then that, remember also aluminum sprockets are lighter but will wear alot faster

Bike is use mainly on the street but sometimes on the track. I have a micron serpent on it ..... and was wondering a 46 rear is it too much power at the lower end. i intend to get the afam steel sprocket which i think will last longer.

steel will last longer.. about 2-3k.. but all depends on riding.. more track use.. less life.. 46 rear with a stock 16 is alright i woudlnt go anymore then that, maybe try -1 first..

I am running -1 in ft and + 2 rear and I like it. It is a little much for the strip hard launches but in the st I love it. I was + 4 in rear and it was too much for everyday ridding. I am running vortek and have not had much prob with them.
