Front brake rotor question
Has anyone removed one of there front brake rotors/ brake caliber? to give it that whole single sided brake look (where one side of the wheel is visiable). I wanna remove my front brake rotor/caliber but i need to know if i need a new brake line or what?

its a drag racing thing leave it for the hayabusa guys your vehicle is designed to slow rapidly in preparation for turns leave both there or plan on getting a trailer and not riding it anywhere

I have to agree with everyone else and say I wouldn't do this mod either. But it's your bike so good luck.
you don't need to buy anything, I'm sure if you go to your local shop they will have a brakeline that will accomodate your desired length from a bike that has upgraded to the braided lines. As far as the safety goes, I was rolling 100ft stoppies with one caliper on my 98 900rr and never experienced a "pulling" problem (it was that way when I bought it, but I bought all of the parts to fix it). I definately feel safer rolling with all of my brakecomponents on the bike but again unless you're headed out to do an AMA walk-on you'll be fine. Another point to be made, is that unless you have custom wheels, if you pull your rotor/caliper off you'll look like a squib.(there is nothing to show off otherwise, and chrome dosen't classify as custom)
I just like the fact that these bikes have such incredible stopping power with those huge dual discs. One finger is all you ever need, even for emergency stops - makes it easy to keep the brake lever covered all the time.
But, to each their own, man.
